Did you notice I seem to be missing a whole lotta blog posts from last month? Well, a few things have happened that affected me and my blogging significantly… some of these things will also affect a few of the blog posts in my immediate future.

So what happened?

Well, my grandmother died very suddenly and the loss really threw me. This person was extra special to me and the loss is one I’ve found especially difficult to deal with. I know that as time goes by some of the sting will go out of it and it will become bearable, but that hasnt’ happened yet.

Also, I unexpectedly moved home. I was living in a one-bedroom apartment and I wanted to remain in the same complex so I asked for the next available 2-bedroom. I put in that request 2 years ago! Then the 2-bedroom apartment directly across from my one-bedroom became available. The waiting list is 16 people long for a small apartment complex were a great many of the tenants have lived in for 15 to 20 years, so the chances of another apartment opening up were pretty slim. We had to jump on it even though it was the middle of the month (we moved the middle of August) Anyway, I’ve moved and I now have a nice two bedroom place that also has a much larger living space in addition to a second bedroom. It also has a completely bare patio with rocks and dirt and nothing much more than that.

Yup, I’ll be starting my garden from scratch this time. I’ve already begun to plan it in my head and I’ll share as I go, but as for the final 2 posts I had planned for this year? Well, I’ll preview and talk more about that in a later post this month. I also have 3 great recipes ready for this month and a cute craft that I will be filming in a few days (yup another video).
