June! The weather in California is really nice right now, not too hot during the day and nice and cool at night. I wish it stayed like this, but it’s bound to be in the hundreds this time next month. I’ve bought a big umbrella for the patio in hopes of being able to actually use the patio when it’s daylight, which will be much more enjoyable than just staring at it through the window or only going out there in the late evening when the sun has mostly gone down. I’ve also got a load of plants for the patio. I’m in the process of finishing off the garden this weekend so I’ll have that to share later this month.

My health is much better. I’ve felt almost normal for a few weeks now. Which is pretty much as close as I ever get to feeling normal. Who wants to be normal anyway? Almost normal is definitely the way to go! Speaking of normal, I gave my site a little makeover. I updated my header graphic, added and took away a few things. It’s samey and different all at the same time. I think the header reflects my life better as it is now, which is also samey and different all at the same time.

Coming up this month I’ve got a few summery recipes and a follow-on craft from last month’s project (which I still didn’t do photos for as of today, but I will get them up ASAP). As well as my second garden post. Exciting huh? Ok, maybe not exciting but at least fun? I’ll settle for fun!
