So my pudgy little ginger cat turned 2-years-old today. He’s a strange one but I love him.
His favorite things seem to be paper, cardboard and plastic. He keeps his special toys away from the shared toy boxes we have around the house. His private stash includes the handles of a brown paper sack we got at Trader Joes, a red and white drinking straw and an Esmeralda doll Happy Meal toy we got at the thrift store. He keeps these treasures in a cardboard box we got fish & chips take out in. He’s chewed the sides up and made himself a place to rest his head. He doesn’t quite fit in the box, but he doesn’t seem to care. He assaults our mail if we don’t put it away, and he loves to rub his front paws on magazines. He’s obsessed with water and the bathroom sink. Though it could be worse I suppose, it could have been the toilet. He’s not much of a cuddler, but he does enjoy it when I grab him and hold him like a baby.
As he gets older he gets sweeter and more friendly, he’s turned out to be a very nice companion so far.
