In hindsight, I should have used a thin nude base (good name for a band!) before adding the dots. I definitely will next time! The confetti nail polish actually had a blue dot as well. So, I painted onto a makeup sponge and removed the blue dots with tweezers before dabbing the remaining dots onto my nails. Applying it that way also helped me not put on too much of the clear polish the dots were suspended in so my nails didn’t get thick and bulky.
To get this look, I used…
- O.P.I Nail Envy for the base coat
- L.A. Colors 646 (blue dots removed)
- Sinful Colors Island Coral 1103
- Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat
