I only made these once and I didn’t follow the instructions exactly as written. I used unsweetened applesauce instead of the 1/3 cup (80ml) of oil the package directions called for.
The results were fudgy and dense but tasted like they were low-fat and sugar-free.
The package states right on the front that these are not a low-calorie food, I tried to make them a low(er) calorie food and though I was sort of successful, I think I’ll experiment with some from scratch recipes instead of making these again.
