We packed up and moved back to California… so long Vegas… Vegas is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn’t want to live there! Cali feels like home and I’m glad to be back.
We spent almost exactly a year living in Vegas after moving over from the UK. I found the desert weather a little too harsh for my health.
Despite what you might think, we do have real seasons! I’m strictly speaking of NorCal, I’ve never lived in SoCal.
California is HUGE at 770 miles long and 250 miles wide. It is the third largest state after Alaska and Texas. The total area of California is 158,706 sq mi (411,048 sq km). Sacramento (where I live) is the state capital.
