Apparently, there are a lot of days that might be considered as the birth date of the internet. Maybe not what most people think of when they think “internet”, but 50 years ago today (1969) the first RFC (Request For Comment) documents were published. The RFC documents describe the theoretical foundations of the internet and interconnecting computers. As well as outlining the methodologies.
